Israni acknowledged the endorsement in a post on X, writing, “Honored to receive the endorsement of my friend Raja Krishnamoorthi.” She described him as “a senior member of the House Intelligence Committee and a champion for working families,” adding that he “embodies what effective leadership looks like.”

She said he serves as a role model as she seeks to match “his commitment to results and accountability in Congress.”

California’s 14th Congressional District covers parts of the eastern Bay Area and includes suburban communities with a significant population of professionals, immigrants, and families.

According to her campaign, Israni has lived in Fremont for more than two decades, where she raised her family and built her professional career. She founded and led a national test-preparation company, drawing on her background as an educator and mentoring thousands of students, the campaign said.

Her legal work has included representing underserved clients in family court and assisting elderly residents with estate planning, according to campaign materials. She has also been active in local schools, serving as PTA president at the elementary, middle, and high school levels attended by her children.

The endorsement adds to Israni’s campaign as she seeks to represent the Calafornia district.
