Kerala siblings among five killed in UAE accident

The crash occurred when the family of 7 were returning from the Liwa Festival, along with their domestic worker.

Four Indian expat siblings who had lost their lives in a tragic car accident in the United Arab Emirates on Jan. 4, were buried at a cemetery in Dubai on Jan. 6, reported Gulf News.

Children of Kerala-origin parents Abdul Latheef and Rukhsana, aged between 5 and 14, were buried days after their vehicle crashed while returning to Dubai from the Liwa Festival.

49-year-old Bushra Fayaz Yahu, the family's domestic worker also passed away in the crash. Her mortal remains were sent home to Kerala and her funeral was held in Kerala on Jan. 6.

The father, Abdul Latheef, attended the funeral after receiving an early-discharge from the hospital, However, Rukhsana and their 10-year-old daughter, Izzaa, continue to receive care at a hospital in Abu Dhabi.
