Based in Santa Clara, California, Iyengar studied at the University of Texas at Arlington and brings more than 34 years of experience in software engineering services, digital transformation and global technology consulting.

Before joining Improving, Iyengar served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Hitachi Business Unit at GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company. According to Improving, he was one of three founding leaders of the post-acquisition integration organization and helped grow the business unit to more than $275 million in revenue across the energy, mobility, rail and connected industries during his four-year tenure.

Earlier, he spent eight years in sales leadership roles at GlobalLogic, helping expand the company's business across North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Improving Chief Executive Officer Curtis Hite said Iyengar's experience leading global delivery organizations and enterprise growth would support the company's next phase of expansion.

In his new position, Iyengar will work with Improving's global leadership team to strengthen strategic partnerships, unify the company's international sales model and expand its global sales organization.

"I am excited to help translate that culture into enterprise-scale impact, building the kinds of strategic partnerships and global delivery programs that create lasting value for the organizations we serve," Iyengar said in the company's announcement.

Founded in 2007, Improving provides software consulting, application development and digital transformation services. Since 2018, it has operated in partnership with private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners and maintains offices across the Americas and India.
