Dhillon calls for clean voter rolls nationwide
Comments come as the Justice Department presses states to disclose and update voter registration rolls.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon said maintaining accurate voter rolls nationwide would help restore public confidence in elections.
Arguing that voter participation increases when people believe the system is secure, Dhillon in an interview with Alex Swoyer, said clean voter lists reassure voters that ballots are counted properly and only once.
