Hamsa Buvaraghan / Pryon
Hamsa Buvaraghan has been appointed as the Senior Vice President and Head of Product of the North Carolina based AI memory brand, 'Pryon'.
Buvaraghan joins Pryon with over two decades of product and strategic leadership experience in AI and cloud technologies. Having previously led AI Product Management and Strategy at Google, for multi-billion-dollar portfolios across Google Cloud's AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning) platforms, databases, and ML infrastructure, she is believed to be a natural fit into the AI centric brand. She has also held key positions at Microsoft and SAP, before joining Google.
Chris Mahl, CEO of Pryon, said in a statement, "The AI memory layer is the most critical infrastructure investment enterprises and governments will make in the next decade."
Highlighting Buvaraghan's expertise in the core working of Pryon, he added, "Hamsa's unparalleled expertise in bringing AI/ML products to market at scale, combined with her deep understanding of enterprise and nation-state needs, makes her the perfect leader to drive our product vision forward. We've pioneered and continued building the AI memory layer, and Hamsa is the force multiplier we need."

Buvaraghan holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Mysore and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California. She also has completed training courses at Harvard Business School and Stanford University.

Buvaraghan is also a three-time bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction. Her inspiration for writing comes from her diverse experiences living and traveling around the world. She spent most of her childhood in Southern India, she has also lived in Connecticut, New Jersey and Canada and currently resides in Bay Area, California with her husband and two daughters.
