Indian-origin lawyer Sai Srinivas Reddy Bhumireddy has recently sworn in as a licensed attorney in the state of Indiana.
The 25-year-old Reddy, a native of Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh, is a practicing advocate at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and recently obtained a Master of Laws degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
With expertise in criminal and family law in India, he studied business and corporate law in the United States.
Reddy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws degree from Alliance University in Karnataka. He also attended summer programs at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he studied public policy and international criminal law.
Following the completion of his law degree, he served as a law clerk-cum-research assistant at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh.

He subsequently advanced his legal education by earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Announcing the news, Reddy said on LinkedIn, “Thrilled to announce that I am now officially a licensed attorney in the state of Indiana!”
He added, “Being sworn in as a member of the Indiana Bar is a milestone I will cherish forever.”
In addition to his legal practice, he has a strong interest in public policy, governance and political processes.
Reddy, who serves as the Andhra Pradesh state vice president of the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF), the student wing of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), was congratulated by TDP leader and Andhra Pradesh Minister Lokesh Nara.
Nara said on X, “It is a matter of immense pride for the entire Telugu community that our own TNSF Andhra Pradesh state vice president, a native of Pulivendula, has officially taken his oath as a licensed attorney in the state of Indiana, USA, at just 25 years of age, on his very first attempt!”
He continued, “What makes this even more special is that he is now dual licensed in both India and the USA at just 25, a truly rare and remarkable achievement!”
