“I see excitement among the community to welcome Modi ji. The last time he came to America in 2023, I took him to the joint session of Congress. His vision and what he has accomplished for India is incredible.”

“We want to thank everyone who came to listen to Prime Minister Modi Ji. His speech was very energizing. It gave a good review of how India is progressing in line with developed nations. His vision is to make India a developed country by 2047. We, the US citizens, immigrants, and students from India, numbering almost 5.5 million, are acting as a bridge, as a catalyst for developing good relations between the two countries."

M.R. Rangaswami

Indiaspora Founder & Chairman

“Modiji saying ‘We salute the Indian diaspora’ sent a strong message to the community he's cultivated for 10 years since becoming the PM. He has reached out consistently to the Indian community here, which has paid dividends. Last year, the remittances from the US to India stood at $26 billion, besides money going into real estate, investing in startups, and the stock market. So, it's a strategic relationship he has formed to interact with us, to support us, and to talk about India as the line of opportunity.”

Darshan Singh Dhaliwal

Businessman, philanthropist, and PBD honoree

“We are proud of PM Modi, he has made us proud of India here. The Sikh separatists’ is a minor problem; in every community, there are some disgruntled elements.”

Volunteer, Modi&US, Executive Director of Hindu American Foundation

“I think it's about being Indian. Our culture is so rich. It's something that fills us through and through, from the way we greet one another, the way we eat or celebrate, the way we see our work as not looking to the fruits of it, but for doing our best job. All those things are kind of ingrained in our DNA. And so, when the Prime Minister of the sacred land where these teachings and this ethos emerged visits the US it's hard not to want to still stay connected. And I think that's why you see so many diasporas, not just the Indian American, but in the UK, Kenya, you name it, the diasporas are so engaged. And I think that the Prime Minister recognizes the value of diasporas as cultural ambassadors to India's soft power.”
