Sruti Balasubramanian promoted to actnano CTO

Balasubramanian joined the company in 2017 and has progressed from a core scientist to senior leadership of the company.

Massachusetts based electronics manufacturing company actnano promoted Vice President-Product Sruti Balasubramanian as its new Chief Tehnology Officer. 

Balasubramanian joined the company in 2017 and has progressed from a core scientist to senior leadership of the company. In her new role, she will drive the company’s technology vision and innovation roadmap, closely aligning product development with evolving customer needs.

Prior to joining actnano, she worked as Technical Project Manager and Senior Coatings Engineer at LiquiGlide. She began her professional journey in research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, building a strong foundation in chemical engineering and applied materials science.

Announcing her appointment, actnano said, "Sruti brings a rare combination of technical depth and customer insight, making her a uniquely commercially focused CTO. She leads actnano’s product innovation while ensuring our technology roadmap directly reflects real-world customer needs."

The company added, "As CTO, Sruti will continue to drive actnano’s innovation engine, strengthen customer partnerships, and shape the next generation of electronics reliability solutions."

Sruti Balasubramanian holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and also holds a Professional Certificate in Strategic Technology Roadmapping and Innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

She expressed her excitement over the next chapter in her life and said, "I am eager to continue collaborating with the innovative minds around me, both within actnano and amongst our customers, as we focus on commercializing novel technologies that make a real impact."
