Princeton University has recognized an Indian-origin student, Srista Tripathi for her positive contributions to campus life with the 2025 Allen Macy Dulles Spirit of Princeton Award.
The award recognizes students who have demonstrated a deep commitment to the undergraduate experience through leadership in student organizations, service, the arts, and other aspects of campus involvement.

Tripathi, from Richmond, Virginia, is minoring in South Asian studies and global health and health policy. She has served as vice president and academics chair of the Undergraduate Student Government (USG).
Beyond academics, Tripathi has held roles as secretary of the International Relations Council and chief of staff for the Princeton Model United Nations Conference. She is also director of programming for Princeton Women in Medicine and volunteers with the American Cancer Society at Penn Medicine.
Outside campus, Tripathi has participated in a range of internships focused on public health, neuroscience, and policy, including roles at NYC Health + Hospitals, Bon Secours, Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. Her global health experience includes research on antimicrobial resistance at the One Health Trust in Bengaluru, India.
Tripathi has also contributed to local efforts addressing food insecurity through her work with Share My Meals Inc., and she previously interned at Capital One and Holbert Family Orthodontics, gaining early experience in healthcare technology and outreach.
Established in 1995, the Spirit of Princeton Award celebrates students who exemplify the values of service and leadership that enrich Princeton’s campus community.
