Rubio praises U.S.–India partnership in Independence Day message

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has extended warm wishes to India ahead of its Independence Day, highlighting the strategic and people-to-people ties that bind the two democracies.

Rubio called the US–India relationship “consequential and far-reaching,” noting that both nations share a commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific. He pointed to cooperation in technology, industry, and space as hallmarks of the partnership.
