Arsha Vidya Gurukulam celebrates 39th anniversary in Pennsylvania

The Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, is celebrating its 39th anniversary on Aug. 17.

The Arsha Vidya Gurukulam was founded in 1986 and offers traditional study of Vedanta and auxiliary disciplines. Founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the institution is situated on 99 acres of partially wooded land in the Pocono Mountain and features a Lord Dakṣiņāmūrti temple.

Centered around the theme 'Uplift the Self', the anniversary celebrations will start at 9 AM and will be followed by a post-lunch Satsang (Q&A).

The day's programs will also include a Carnatic concert led by artist Sangeetha Swaminathan.
