Aura, a Boston based AI-powered online safety service, announced the appointment of Rekha Singh as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on June 18.
Along with Singh, Sarah Cherng (Chief AI Officer) and Kristin Lewis (Chief Product Officer) were also appointed by Aura.
Aura’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hari Ravichandran addressed the new appointments and stated, "As digital threats grow more complex, we're stepping boldly into the future with a team operating at the cutting edge of data science to redefine family online safety."
He also said, “these leaders will help us scale the important work already in motion across engineering, AI and product.”
Singh has over 30 years of experience building enterprise-grade, scalable platforms.
Prior to joining Aura, Singh served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science at GoPuff and as Vice President of Engineering at TripAdvisor. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
