Ravi Dankanikote has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of Virginia based national security solutions company, Peraton.
Dankanikote has been tasked with spearheading Peraton’s growth strategy. He will also be responsible for leading business development across all markets, building and strengthening strategic customer relationships, and ensuring alignment between the company’s capabilities and the challenges faced by the customers.
After completing his Bachelor's in Engineering from the RV College Of Engineering in Bengaluru and Master's degree in Computer Science from the Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, he studied Marketing IT Services at the Wharton School.

Peraton's Chairman, President, and CEO Steve Schorer praised the company's latest hire and said in a statement, "Ravi’s ability to align strategy, culture, and execution is exactly what we need at this stage in Peraton's evolution."
Schorer added, "He’s going to be a catalyst for growth that defines the next chapter of our company.”
With over three decades of experience in the federal contracting space, Dankanikote has held senior executive roles at SAIC and CACI International before joining Peraton.
Talking about Peraton, Ravi said in a statement, “Our business doesn’t succeed by chasing trends—it thrives by solving real problems with ingenuity and integrity.”

Ravi also has a strong history for civic leadership. He recently served on the Washington chapter of NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) board of directors, Executive Mosaic, Washington Exec’s Business Council, AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association International), and several other nonprofits.
