RAAS, an Indian women's clothing brand based in Chicago, has unveiled its Navratri 2025 Collection, which incorporates traditional Indian craftsmanship to celebrate the festive season.
The collection features Chaniya Cholis, mirror-work lehengas and silk-georgette ensembles. Each piece highlights hand embroidery, traditional patterns from Gujarat and Rajasthan, and hand-dyed dupattas. The designs incorporate lightweight fabrics such as georgette and silk blends.
“Every twirl tells a story. This year’s designs are about honoring the deep cultural roots of Navratri while giving women a reason to feel glamorous, confident, and comfortable all night long,” said Shreya Patel, founder of RAAS. The brand emphasized that the collection is positioned for a broad audience, including the Indian diaspora in the United States, and seeks to balance authenticity with modern silhouettes.
Founded in Chicago, RAAS has built its reputation by bringing traditional Indian festive wear into mainstream U.S. retail markets. The company’s offerings, available online at raastheglobaldesi.com, aim to provide Indian Americans and global fashion enthusiasts with high-quality festive attire. It has also worked to expand access to Indian festive wear through partnerships with U.S. retailers, including Nordstrom and Macy’s.
