Telugu star Prabhas is back with a refreshing shift in tone as the first official teaser for his upcoming horror-comedy The Raja Saab teaser dropped on the morning of June 16, 2025.
The teaser unveils a quirky yet chilling plot built around spirits, secrets, and slapstick. The film is slated for release on December 5, 2025
Directed by Maruthi, the film introduces audiences to an old-world mansion pulsing with eerie charm and dramatic tension. From cobwebbed corridors to ominous mirrors, the teaser balances atmospheric visuals with a playful energy anchored by Prabhas’s charismatic lead presence.

Unlike his recent high-stakes action roles, here Prabhas embraces a more mischievous avatar. The teaser features him donning lungis, chasing love, and possibly ghosts all while maintaining a grounded, small-town flair.
Malavika Mohanan (in her Telugu debut), Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar round out the female leads, each appearing in glimpses that hint at entanglements both romantic and spectral. Sanjay Dutt also appears in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, teasing a pivotal role in the unfolding mystery.
Production sources revealed that the film’s elaborate haunted house set spans over 41,000 square feet, built entirely from scratch to reflect an authentic gothic mood.
The Raja Saab is set for a worldwide theatrical release in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film was originally planned for an April release, but the delay has only heightened anticipation among fans eager to see Prabhas in a less brooding, more playful light.
