Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is all set to take centre-stage in Netflix's upcoming dance-based comedy film, 'Best of the Best'.

The 'Never Have I Ever' star's latest flick was recently announced by Netflix's Tudum and has been reported to also feature 'Everything To Me' actor, Priyanka Kedia and popular stand-up comic Hasan Minhaj in key roles.

'Best of the Best' will follow Maya (Ramakrishnan) and Anjali (Kedia), two childhood best friends who join their college’s competitive Bollywood dance team. However, things are not as rosy as they appear and the duo discover that the road to winning the national championship is far more raucous and cutthroat than they ever imagined.

The dance team emerges as a space for South Asian community building and cultural connection in the movie but also provides room for comedy.
