According to police, the suspects allegedly forced their way into a residence near Dollar Road and Dollarton Highway and unlawfully confined the victim. Officers responded to the scene, safely rescued the man, who sustained minor injuries, and temporarily placed a nearby elementary school under lockdown as a precaution.

Police have not released details about the motive, any prior relationship between the accused and the victim, or the specific roles played by each suspect during the alleged offense.

The Vancouver Police Department confirmed that all four suspects remain in custody pending bail hearings. “Four suspects have been charged in relation to an alleged home invasion that occurred in North Vancouver on Feb. 5,” police said, adding that “the investigation is ongoing.”
