Anu Shah, an Indian-origin tech executive and entrepreneur, has launched a new podcast to explore conversations at the intersection of strategy, civic engagement, and mental health.
The Talk Lane brings together leaders from business, policy, and social sectors to focus on a central question: Can ambition, purpose, and well-being meaningfully coexist within the same conversation?

The podcast’s now-live inaugural six-episode season was conceived as an experiment, aiming to integrate strategic insight with personal well-being and broader civic discourse.
Guests included Karan Bilimoria, founder of Cobra Beer and a UK House of Lords member; Usha Prashar, a UK House of Lords member known for her work in governance and social justice; and futurist Brett King. Additional episodes featured leaders such as Manoj Kohli (SoftBank India), Aseem Puri (Unilever International), and early-stage founders reflecting on the personal cost of ambition.
The podcast was developed with minimal resources—one USB microphone, cloud-based editing software, and the support of a small volunteer team handling sound, visuals, and fact-checking. Each episode concluded with a practical resource, such as a hiring framework or mental health exercise, giving listeners tangible takeaways.
As the first season and guest contributions firmly established the podcast's premise, a second season, announced shortly after the pilot's success, is expected later this year, with expanded content and multilingual highlights.
The Talk Lane streamed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and YouTube. Shah has promised to dedicate sponsorship revenue from the upcoming season to a scholarship fund supporting girls in STEM in the Bronx area of New York, as part of wider philanthropic efforts.
