New York City will host the Indie Film Festival Awards from Jun. 2 to Jun. 5, 2025. Featuring over 50 films from across 20 countries, the festival sets the stage for visionary filmmakers, compelling storytellers, and diverse talent to showcase the power of global cinema.
The festival will commence with an Opening Ceremony on Jun. 2 at 6:00 PM at Quad Cinema, 34 West 13th Street, New York. Distinguished guests, including Mayor Eric Adams, Consul General of India Binay Pradhan, India’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, and Doordarshan Chairman Navneet Sehgal, will join celebrities and community leaders to launch the event.
Film festival screenings will run from Jun. 3 to Jun. 5 at the Quad Cinema. Daily showtimes are slated from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM on June 3 and 4, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on June 5. The screenings promise a rich selection of indie films, offering audiences a chance to explore unique narratives from around the world.
The festival will end with the Grand Awards Ceremony on Jun. 5, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at Frederick P. Rose Auditorium, 41 Cooper Square, New York. This evening will honor filmmakers, actors, and contributors with over 25 prestigious awards. Notable presenters include Hollywood and Bollywood stars, Minister Athawale, and influential figures from different walks of life. The event will feature red carpet moments, entertainment, and cultural highlights and promises to be a celebration of cinematic excellence and diversity.
