Birla Institute alumna wins Lectureship Award at Duke

The awardees are selected based on the appeal of their research to an interdisciplinary faculty audience, as well as their dedication to teaching, research, and service.

Duke University honored Tania Roy, Associate Professor at Pratt School of Engineering, with the Thomas Langford Lectureship Award on Aug. 8, 2025.

Roy is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her work focuses on developing hardware for artificial intelligence applications using novel functional materials including two-dimensional materials.
