The American India Foundation (AIF) has announced the launch of its 2025–2026 Youth Ambassador Program (YAP), aimed at nurturing the next generation of U.S.-based social impact leaders.

The program will run from October 1, 2025, to July 1, 2026, and is open to high school students across the United States who are seeking to drive meaningful change.

YAP provides students the chance to engage in global development efforts by designing and implementing fundraising campaigns that support AIF’s mission. Through their involvement, youth ambassadors will gain hands-on experience in leadership, communication, marketing, and community engagement.

The program also offers opportunities to earn volunteer hours and qualify for the AIF Youth Ambassador Service Awards (YASAs), which recognize outstanding contributions in fundraising, creativity, and outreach.

Youth ambassadors, either working individually or in teams of up to three, have the opportunity to design and lead fundraising campaigns that support AIF’s mission. These campaigns can either contribute to the foundation’s broader goals or be tailored to one of its flagship programs—Digital Equalizer (DE), Learning and Migration Program (LAMP), Market Aligned Skills Training (MAST), or the Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI).

Applications for the 2025–2026 cohort are now open. Interested students and parents can learn more about the Youth Ambassador Program and access the application through the official AIF website.
