Dubai-based airline Emirates has introduced its premium economy service on the Kolkata-Dubai route, expanding its upgraded travel offering to a fourth Indian city.
The premium economy cabin will be available on flights EK572/573 starting July 18, 2025. Flight EK573 will depart Kolkata at 8:45 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Dubai at 12:05 a.m.(local time) the next day, operating four times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The return flight, EK572, will leave Dubai at 1:05 p.m. and land in Kolkata at 7:15 p.m. All times are local.

The premium economy cabin features 24 cream leather seats with wider dimensions, deeper recline, raised leg rests, and adjustable headrests. The enhanced experience includes gourmet meals served on Royal Doulton china, a curated beverage list, and a 13.3-inch personal HD screen with Bluetooth headphone pairing and upgraded Wi-Fi connectivity.
Passengers also benefit from a 35kg checked baggage allowance and an additional 10kg for carry-on luggage.
Emirates currently operates 11 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai. Premium economy will be offered on EK572/573, while daily services on EK570/571 will continue with standard cabin classes.
