A key Congressional subcommittee responsible for overseeing South and Central Asia has announced that it will hold a hearing on terrorism in the region, during which lawmakers are expected to discuss in detail the Pakistan-supported terrorist attack on innocent Hindu tourists in Pahalgam on Apr.22.
Titled “Assessing the Terror Threat Landscape in South and Central Asia and Examining Opportunities for Cooperation”, the hearing has been convened by South and Central Asia Sub-committee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on May 22, exactly a month after the terrorists killed 26 tourists, with one of them being a Nepalese citizen.
