The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH) continues its Silver Jubilee celebrations with the 2025 IACCGH Gala, to be held on Sept. 27, 2025, in Houston.
Established in 1999, the body's silver jubilee celebrations will feature a keynote conversation with Dr. David L. Callender, President & CEO of Memorial Hermann Health System, in conversation with Dr. Renu Khator, Chancellor of the University of Houston System.
John Whitmire, Mayor of the City of Houston, and D.C. Manjunath, Consul General of India in Houston will be attending the event as special guests.
IACCGH President Malisha Patel and Founding Secretary & Executive Director Jagdip Ahluwalia announced the recipients of the 2025 IACCGH Awards on Aug. 11, which will be presented at the Gala.
IACCGH Business Advocate Award will be presented to Jasjit Singh, in recognition of his distinguished leadership in global investment strategy and his over 20 years of advancing U.S.–India economic ties.
IACCGH Business of the Year Award will be presented to Musaafer, in recognition of Musaafer’s exceptional achievement as a Michelin-star restaurant, setting a new standard for Indian cuisine in Houston and beyond.
IACCGH Woman of the Year Award will be presented to Snehee Chaplot, Founder & CEO, Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams, in recognition of her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit in revolutionizing the ice cream industry.
IACCGH Global Gateway Award will be presented to the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston & Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India, honoring a distinguished partnership that has positioned India and Houston as vital gateways to global commerce and economic collaboration.
IACCGH had kicked off its silver jubilee celebrations on Sep. 21, 2024, attracting over 700 attendees, including business leaders, elected officials, and distinguished guests, underscoring the Chamber’s enduring impact on the Indo-American business community.
