The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University has honored twins Roshan Niranjan Kalpavruksha and Rohan Niranjan Kalpavruksha with the “Outstanding Student of the Year” award for the Class of 2025.

Their shared academic excellence was matched by hands-on contributions to real-world projects—including their work as graduate research assistants on a Generative AI project focused on fashion innovation. They served as core team members of the Pace Data Science Club and actively supported the initiatives of the Pace AI Lab.

They have presented two papers at the Florida Artificial Intelligence Research Society (FLAIRS) Conference, covering advanced techniques in kernel density-based clustering and linear regression. In 2024, Roshan earned the Best Presenter Award at Seidenberg Research Day.

Their collaborative spirit extended to launching The Twin Podcast, a virtual YouTube series exploring the intersections of technology, business, career growth, and personal development.

Commenting on the recognition, Rohan said, “I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to share that I have been awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year 2025 at the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. But what makes this moment truly unforgettable is that I share this recognition with my twin brother, Roshan Niranjan Kalpavruksha.”

“It feels like just yesterday I was navigating the challenges of a new country, adjusting to a new culture, and pushing myself to excel. Yet, here I stand, a proud recipient of this prestigious award,” he added.

The siblings have previously earned a BTech from PES University in Bengaluru
