Version 1 elevates Roop Singh to CEO
He previously served as the company’s chief commercial officer.

Global digital transformation company Version 1 has appointed Indian-origin tech executive Roop Singh as its chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Singh joined Version 1 six months ago as chief commercial officer (CCO) and has spearheaded key strategic and commercial initiatives. In his enhanced role, he will focus on accelerating the company’s growth trajectory in the field of AI-driven digital transformation, the company said in a statement.

“Since he joined six months ago as chief commercial officer, Roop has consistently demonstrated the strategic acumen, commercial expertise, customer centricity and leadership qualities that are essential to guide the organisation forward. He brings the energy, drive and values that reflect who we are and where we're headed. The Board has great confidence in his ability to lead the company and build on our significant commercial momentum,” said Brian Humphries, chairman of the board.
Prior to joining Version 1, Singh held leadership positions across major technology firms, including his most recent role as chief business officer and CEO of Americas at Birlasoft. There, he played a pivotal role in driving sustained growth. He also held senior roles at IBM as head of financial services US, and earlier roles at Wipro in consulting and financial services.

The transition comes as current executive chairman Brian Humphries returns to his original position as chairman of the board.
