Sikh woman raped in UK, asked to go back to her country

The police have arrested one individual in connection with the crime.

A Sikh woman, in her 20s, was allegedly raped in Oldbury, UK, by two White men, in what is said to be a racially motivated crime. The attack took place on Sept. 9 at around 8:30 a.m. at Tame Road, Oldbury. The West Midlands Police arrested one individual in connection with the case on Sept. 14, five days after the incident.

In a statement, the West Midlands Police noted that one of the assailants has been described as having a shaved head, heavy build, and was reported to be wearing a dark coloured sweatshirt and had gloves on. The other attacker was reportedly wearing a grey top with a silver zip.
