The Open Atlas Summit 2025 will take place on Aug.15 and 16 at the India Community Centre in Milpitas, California, bringing together more than 750 high-skilled immigrants for discussions, workshops, and networking.

Organizers Nikin Tharan and Soundarya Balasubramani say the summit is designed to provide practical strategies for overcoming barriers in the US immigration system, while also addressing the cultural and psychological challenges faced by immigrants.

Unlike traditional conferences, the event will compress its sessions into an intensive two-day format. The first evening will feature comedy, networking, and cultural programs to help participants connect. The following day will include keynote addresses, skill-building workshops, and focused networking sessions.

Balasubramani said, “High-skilled immigrants don’t just need better resumes or interview skills. They need to fundamentally reframe their relationship with success in America. Open Atlas Summit 2025 provides the community and frameworks to make that shift permanent.”

The sessions will cover immigration strategy, entrepreneurship, and career development, with an emphasis on producing tangible outcomes such as action plans, refined business models, and updated professional profiles. The summit also aims to help participants use cultural differences as strengths and to address confidence issues that may arise from navigating systems built for others.

According to the organizers, past attendees have reported measurable results, including visa approvals, career changes, business launches, and expanded professional networks.

A key element will be the summit’s community-building aspect. Organizers say the shared experiences of participants often lead to partnerships, mentorships, and long-term professional relationships. The event will also provide follow-up resources and online platforms for continued engagement after the summit.

The Open Atlas Summit, now in its latest edition, is positioned by its founders as an opportunity for immigrants to gain both practical tools and a supportive network to advance their personal and professional goals in the US.
