The Gandhian Society (USA) announces the shifting of a digital museum on Mahatma Gandhi from Atlantic City to Edison, New Jersey, coinciding with the visit of the main sponsor, Rajashree Birla, the Chairperson of the Birla Group.

The museum is part of the Eternal Gandhi Project supported by Birla and celebrates the life and messages of Mahatma Gandhi.

The relocation is being supervised by the Gandhian Society under the aegis of society founder Bhadra Butala.

The society is also organising a meet and greet event in New Jersey on May 26 to honor Birla. It believes her continued commitment to preserving the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi reflects the Birla family's historical association with the Mahatma and their unwavering dedication to social responsibility.

The event is being hosted by the Gandhian Society in collaboration with Bhadra Butala, Albert Jasani, and Dr. Dinesh Patel. Distinguished guests will include Binaya Pradhan, Indian Consul General in New York, and local dignitaries Mayor John McCormac (Woodbridge Township) and Mayor Sam Joshi (Edison).

The afternoon will feature a formal recognition of Rajashree Birla’s philanthropic efforts, a Khadi-themed kids fashion show, children’s cultural performances focused on Gandhiji’s life and ideal and a special audio-visual presentation on the Eternal Gandhi Museum project in the U.S. and abroad.
