The DevOps team is responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring systems and services on AWS, ensuring seamless operation and scalability. We collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence. Our goal is to monitor and improve operational excellence through self-service project templates, infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and other automation. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, who is passionate about cloud computing, automation, and collaboration.

Required Experience:
 

  • Managing resources in the public cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Building DevSecOps workflows in CI to minimize vulnerabilities and ensure compliance and software quality
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Kubernetes operational model, management, and delivery via GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • Serverless applications (AWS Lambda, SQS/EventBridge, API GW, etc)
  • Cloud architecture, networking concepts, and web protocols
  • Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • SQL and managing relational databases
  • Collaborating in team-oriented agile environments
  • Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills, driving collaboration with peers and members of other teams.
  • B.S. in computer science, related degree, or equivalent work experience.

     

Preferred Experience:
 

  • Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python
  • Observability stacks (LGTM – Loki/Grafana/Tempo/Mimir - and OpenTelemetry)
  • NoSQL database engines and data/ETL pipelines
  • Optimizing database clusters and queries
  • Participating in an on-call rotation and incident management
  • Internal developer portals and platform tools (Backstage)
