The CVHTS Anniversary Celebrations at Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple in Middletown, Connecticut, bring together devotees for a spiritually enriching three-day event filled with traditional Hindu rituals and ceremonies.
The celebrations begin on Friday, May 29 (6:00 PM onwards) with a series of sacred rituals including Raksha Bandhan, Sankalpam, Punyavachanam, Vigneshwara Pooja, Kalasa Sthapana, Gayatri Mantram, Sarvadevatha Yagam, and Poornahuthi. The evening continues with Vaikasi Visakham and Sri Subramanya Swamy Abhishekam at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, May 30, devotees can participate in the Poornima Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam/Pooja at 11:00 AM, followed by a special Gau (Cow) Mata Pooja at 5:00 PM, honoring Goddess Kamadhenu and invoking blessings for prosperity, wisdom, and growth.
The celebrations conclude on Sunday, May 31 at 11:00 AM with the grand Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Kalyanam, a divine ceremonial wedding that symbolizes harmony, devotion, and abundance.
Devotees also have the opportunity to sponsor various rituals and offerings across the three days, contributing to the temple’s activities while receiving spiritual blessings.
