According to the governor, most victims suffered shrapnel and blast injuries, traumatic brain injuries, fractures, burns and smoke inhalation.
The city of Elektrostal, located about 60 kilometers (37 miles) east of Moscow, was the hardest hit, with 57 people injured. Four others were wounded in the nearby city of Noginsk.
Earlier on July 19, Vorobyov said 24 people had been injured after a drone crashed into the premises of a warehouse in Elektrostal.
Separately, Russia's Ministry of Defense said its air defense systems intercepted 774 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones and 13 guided aerial bombs over the previous 24 hours.
The ministry also said Russian forces carried out overnight strikes using precision-guided air-launched weapons and attack drones against what it described as Ukrainian military-related targets.
According to the ministry, the strikes targeted port infrastructure at the Port of Odesa used to unload fuel and lubricants, along with fuel storage facilities intended to support the Ukrainian armed forces.
The ministry added that a container ship unloading ammunition at the Port of Chornomorsk in Ukraine's Odesa region was also hit. It further said Russian forces struck a dry cargo vessel near Snake Island in the Black Sea that was transporting supplies for the Ukrainian military.
