Rep. Ami Bera warned that the H-1B visa controversy is backfiring on the American economy by encouraging Indian entrepreneurs to launch proof-of-concept projects at home rather than in the United States.
“The H-1B issue really backfires on the U.S. economy,” the California Democrat said in conversation with Milan Vaishnav on the Grand Tamasha podcast hosted by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
