A senior Democratic Congresswoman on Sept. 23 sharply criticised President Donald Trump’s move to impose a $100,000 annual fee on new H-1B visa holders, calling it “reckless” and a threat to innovation hubs like California’s Bay Area.
Congresswoman Lateefah Simon, who represents California’s 12th District, in a statement denounced Trump’s latest immigration measure in this regard.
