The Indo-Nepal Youth Association of North America (INYANA), a cross-country collaboration, was officially launched on Aug. 23 in New York City.

The association marks a new step in promoting unity between the two neighbouring nations and uplifting Indian and Nepalese youth across the continent. The body will also seek to celebrate the culture of both the countries, honour achievements of community members, empower youth and advance representation of both countries in the spheres of education, politics, business, and civic life.

The body was founded by Nishant Garg, who is a member of CTIA (RLSQ) Leadership Council and the founder of the Telecom Institute of New York (T.I.N.Y.) and Delta Enterprise USA.

He further noted that the involvement of Indian youth overseas reflects India’s growing influence and underscores their pivotal role in the nation’s transformative journey.

Along with Chugh, Amit Taneja, a BJP leader from Punjab, was also present for the inauguration.

Down the road, INYANA hopes to establish local chapters in universities and major cities, formalize its nonprofit structure, launch national programs in mentorship, entrepreneurship, and leadership and facilitate partnership and collaboration between the two communities.
