Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AAPI) adults rank cost of living and immigration as main concerns, according to a new survey released on Sept. 16, 2025.

The ‘2025 AAPI Policy Priorities Survey’, conducted by AAPI Data and the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA), found that 58 percent of respondents cited the rising cost of living as the most important issue, compared to 25 percent who pointed to immigration. That marks a steep drop from December 2024, when 42 percent of AAPI adults had identified immigration as a leading concern.
