Indian Consulate in Houston to host one day consular services camp

The camp is held as part of the 'Consulate@yourDoorStep' initiative.

A consular camp is being organized on Sept. 20 in San Antonio, Texas by the Consulate General of India, Houston.

Organized in partnership with the Indian Association of San Antonio (IASA), the one-day consular camp seeks to address consular services like emergency visa application, passport renewal, etc.

The camp will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 9114 Mehlmer Wind St, San Antonio and requires applicants to submit their applications online through the VFS Global portal before attending.

The camp will offer the following services for U.S. passport holders of Indian origin:

⦁ New and renewal of OCI Card applications, other OCI-related services (verification & submission)
⦁ Emergency Visa applications (verification & submission)
⦁ Renunciation of Indian nationality applications (verification & submission

Additionally, the camp will offer the following services to Indian passport holders:

⦁ Renewal of Indian Passport
⦁ Global Entry Program (GEP) applications
⦁ Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications

Apart from such services, the camp will also offer, to Indian passport holders, miscellaneous services like attestation of affidavits and documents, issuance of Certificate such as NRI Certificate, Life Certificate and NOC issuance for transportation of mortal remains, among other standard miscellaneous services.

This unique outreach program provides Indian nationals and persons of Indian origin with a convenient way to access consular services and engage with representatives from the Consulate General of India, Houston.

The event is organized as part of the 'Consulate@yourDoorStep' initiative and participation in the camp requires prior registration from all attendees.
