Kayura has announced the launch of Golden Legacy™ Traditional Scalp & Hair Oil, a new Ayurvedic-inspired blend formulated to reduce hair loss and strengthen roots. The product combines 21 botanicals with coconut, sesame, almond, and castor oils, designed to support scalp health and restore strand vitality.

The company has positioned Golden Legacy™ as a bridge between traditional Indian wellness rituals and modern scalp science. The ingredients are slow-infused over a 30-day lunar cycle to maximize potency, a process that allows the herbs and oils to fully develop before bottling.

Founder Kanan Patel said her inspiration came from family traditions.

“I grew up with Sundays that always began with hair oiling. My mother and grandmother would massage my hair, believing in its benefits. Every massage meant healthier roots, a calmer scalp, and stronger, shinier strands. That simple ritual became the foundation for Golden Legacy™.”

The product is intended to maintain a healthy scalp microenvironment by regulating oil and reducing buildup, factors often linked to hair loss. According to Patel, the launch goes beyond cosmetic care.

“We wanted to create more than just another hair oil. Golden Legacy™ is the result of over 16 iterations and a year of development to craft the perfect blend of botanicals and nourishing oils. By combining the proven benefits of plants recorded in one of the world’s oldest medical systems with modern understanding of scalp health, we developed a golden oil that strengthens roots, smooths strands, and maintains a balanced scalp environment for everyday use.”

Golden Legacy™ became available for purchase online starting Sept.23 at $32 through kayuraeffect.com.

Kayura develops wellness products by blending plant actives listed in Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest medical texts, with advanced dermatological science. Its portfolio includes hair care and skincare products designed for sensitive skin.
