Dr Lavkush Mishra is Dean and Senior most Professor at Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar , Agra, India. He has 26 years of Teaching and research experience and has delivered lectures in USA, Mauritius, Philipines, China, Dubai, Thailand, Italy etc. Dr Mishra has authored 18 books and has been awarded with many national and International awards by various Universities and organizations like Karma yogi Puraskar from Mauritius Government, Mahamana Ratna Award for Educarion by Banaras Hindu University, Banaras, India. He is Editor and in board of many Peer Reviewed International Journals. He is serving as expert in Board of Studies in 23 Central ,State and Private Universities of India. He is office bearer of International Academy of Business (IAB) USA, Vice President of Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress (ITHC), India and active member Indian Economic Association(IEA), Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) , New Delhi and many others.
Prof Mishra has been speaker to United Nation World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) in Global Conference held at Lagos, Nigeria on ‘ Linking Tourism, Culture and Creative Industries: Pathways to Recovery and Inclusive Development’ on Nov14, 2022. Professor Mishra has led various research projects sponsored by University Grant Commission, New Delhi, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Uttar Pradesh Tourism, Lucknow, India.
Prof Mishra is columnist and writes articles to various National Dailies of India. He regularly trains tourism stake holders specially associated with Taj Mahal, India.
