Built in 1890, The Grenville is one of the last 19th-century seaside hotels on Barnegat Island. Through name changes, ownerships, and careful updates, it has preserved its historic elegance while adding modern comforts like central air, private baths, and Bay Head’s first elevator.

Since 2004, under owner Harry Typaldos, The Grenville has continued to blend heritage with hospitality. Recognized by the Bay Head Historical Society, we invite you to enjoy a stay or a meal where history meets comfort on the Jersey Shore.
