BrightMap Education LLC was founded to help students and families navigate the path to college and career opportunities with greater clarity, confidence, and support. I know the education journey can feel overwhelming, especially for first-generation families, immigrant families, and students who do not have access to consistent individualized guidance. BrightMap exists to close that gap.

Rita Idugboe founded BrightMap Education to expand access to high-quality academic and college readiness guidance for students who deserve every opportunity to succeed. As a Black woman and first-generation college student, Rita understands how powerful the right guidance can be and how difficult it can be to navigate complex systems without a trusted roadmap.

She built BrightMap to combine academic coaching, college admissions support, test preparation, and long-term student development into one structured, student-centered experience.

Our mission is to help students build the confidence, knowledge, and strategy they need to pursue meaningful futures through academic planning, college readiness, and career exploration.

Our vision is to become a trusted education partner for families, schools, and nonprofits by combining personalized coaching with scalable digital tools that expand access to college and career readiness support.
