In a unique collaboration, Harvard University researchers are working with grassroots organizations across India to gather what they describe as one of the largest datasets ever recorded on extreme heat and human well-being.
The year-long project, unfolding in Ahmedabad and soon expanding to other parts of India, is tracking the impact of rising temperatures on vulnerable workers through heat sensors, wearable technology, and regular health checkups.
