The Embassy of India celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga in Washington on June 19.
Organized at Lincoln memorial, the celebration witnessed participation from over 500 Yoga enthusiasts. The celebration included a Yoga session and a Kuchipudi classical dance performance.

The theme of this year’s celebration is, ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health.’
The ministry of culture, Government of India described the theme and said, “This theme echoes a vital truth about the interconnectedness of health, sustainability, and the environment, aligning with India's “One Earth, One Family, One Future” vision highlighted during its G20 presidency.”

In the run up to International Day of Yoga 2025, several events have been organized by the Embassy and Consulates across the United States of America with active participation and support of numerous community organizations and Yoga enthusiasts
