US Vice President J D Vance on May 8 ruled out getting involved in the middle of an India-Pakistan war, even as it is asking the two countries to de-escalate the situation and also believes that the current conflict is unlikely to end up in a nuclear war.
The US ruling out its mediation efforts comes as a major setback to Pakistan, which, in the wake of an aggressive Indian stand, has been reaching out to Republican leaders through eminent Pakistani Americans over the last 24 hours for mediation with New Delhi.
