Udemy, a California based skills development platform, recently appointed Ramji Sundararajan as President of Consumer.
Reporting to Hugo Sarrazin, President and CEO of Udemy, Sundararajan is charged with overseeing all aspects of Udemy’s Consumer business, including the global learning marketplace that serves millions of learners worldwide.
Sarrazin highlighted the timeliness of Sundararajan's appointment and said, “As we accelerate the transformation of our Consumer business, Ramji brings exactly the operational expertise and subscription growth execution that we need at this pivotal moment.” .

Sundararajan comes with extensive experience driving growth for consumer internet, direct-to-consumer subscription services, marketplaces and eCommerce companies. Before joining Udemy, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. He also co-founded Zalora and has served as its managing director.
An IIT-Madras engineering graduate, Sundararajan obtained his MBA from The Wharton School and started his professional career at Boston based global conglomerate, General Electric.
