The Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC) has announced the expansion of its Advisory Council, a move timed with renewed efforts to stabilize relations between Canada and India following a rocky diplomatic period. The announcement came days after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Canada for the G7 Summit at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The Council’s expansion brings on board a group of senior executives and global leaders with sector-specific expertise, intended to shape C-IBC’s strategy and bolster bilateral trade and investment.
