Economist Indermit Gill says India’s 6% growth rate is a “positive sign”

"What we talk about is India's potential growth rate is 6%. So India has to hit that. So I think some other things that it has to do is to make sure that we meet our potential", said Indermit Gill.

The chief economist of the World Bank while speaking  to NIA on the sidelines of the Harvard India Conference outlined the steps India needs to take to grow its GDP at a rate higher than the projected 6 percent and become a high income economy by 2047.
