Telugu-language action thriller Kingdom has opened to a strong start in North America, grossing over $500,000 from its premiere shows on July 30.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is a spy action thriller and marks the first installment of a planned duology. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda as constable Surya “Suri,” alongside Satyadev and debutant Bhagyashri Borse. Manish Chaudhari, Venkitesh, and Baburaj are seen in supporting roles.
It is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Creations, with a reported budget of ₹100 crore (approx US$11.4 million).
The film’s production began in June 2023, with filming conducted across multiple locations including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. Cinematography is handled by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John, with editing by Naveen Nooli. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
With high production values and a gripping narrative, Kingdom has received strong early interest both in India and overseas.
