Rep. Shri Thanedar on May 13 called for an immediate vote on impeaching President Donald J. Trump in the House of Representatives. The move comes two weeks after Thanedar formally filed articles of impeachment and introduced House Resolution 353, citing what he called a pattern of “crime after crime”.

“I rise today to do my duty and uphold my oath to protect the Constitution,” Thanedar said. “This President has a clear disregard for our Constitution.”
