Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi has taken a 13-point lead in the Democratic primary race for the U.S. Senate seat in Illinois, according to a new poll released on June 17 by GBAO, a public opinion research and political strategy firm based in Washington, D.C.
The latest survey, conducted June 5–10 among 1,200 likely Democratic primary voters, shows Krishnamoorthi polling at 32 percent, ahead of Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton at 19 percent and Congresswoman Robin Kelly at 14 percent.
